Coco For Coca Cola Light

It’s always nice to see a CPG (consumer packaged good) pair up with a designer to release a limited edition product. Coca-Cola is notorious for putting out limited edition bottles, whether they are for the Olympics, World Cup or just collectors items. Well, they are at it again. Coca-Cola Light has teamed up with Chanels long-time designer Karl Lagerfeld to produce a limited edition bottle of Coke. And complete with this limited edition beverage, is a beautifully designed simple box that comes with a branded bottle opener cleverly hidden in a secret drawer. The design speaks to Lagerfeld’s artistic direction for Chanel as well as his own line, and really embodies him as an artist. What’s more amazing (maybe not more, but close), and frankly a little brilliant, is that they used Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha for the campaign. Coco dressed to look like Karl Lagerfeld, the designer of Coco Chanel. Tee hee – makes me giggle just thinking about it.

The Bottle says:

“The designer affixes his style and his famous silhouette on the bottle and delivers an exclusive creation with chic lines and also a unique box in limited edition, accompanied with a bottle-opener discreetly hidden in a drawer.”

I love this and hope to see more designers teaming up with CPG’s.

Oh and in case you were wondering, this delightful little package goes for about $60. Which is a pretty sweet penny for a bottle of Coke!

    oh wow! i would buy it and keep it forever 🙂 i hope to write to karl lagerfeld as i heard that he responds very quickly with a signed photo and letter (not a secretarial) so i cant wait!
